Laura Hawksfield - Account Manager

Laura Hawksfield has worked in PR for more than seven years, with experience in Technology, Finance, Automotive, Fashion and Beauty. She has lots of valuable experience in many different industries and agency environments and cares very much about her work and clients. After choosing to study science subjects and English Language at A-Level to pursue a career as an Aerospace engineer she soon realised that she enjoyed writing far more than Chemistry and Physics.

Laura grew up in the north east of England and moved to London to go to University where she studied Business IT and Marketing. In her final year she decided to find out what the world of PR was all about and so embarked on a work placement with The Communications Store, a fashion and beauty PR agency. Laura quickly realised that PR was the perfect career choice and hasn’t looked back since; she joined the fashion agency as a receptionist and worked her way up to junior account executive level.

After four years in fashion and beauty Laura decided she wanted to try other industries for more of a challenge and to find out if any would prove to be her favourite. Laura joined Goode International, an integrated marketing agency in Goring, where she looked after business to business technology clients and enjoyed the technology industry very much. She later moved to The JJ Group another integrated marketing agency in Oxford where she represented financial technology and automotive clients before finally settling with Jargon PR as an Account Manager.

Outside of work Laura enjoys spending time with her friends by holding whiskey evenings at her home in Henley-on-Thames or going for dinner and drinks in London.

Charlotte Oakman - Account Executive

Charlotte joined Jargon PR in June 2010 after completing a BA Honours in Public Relations and Marketing Communications at Buckinghamshire New University, in which she achieved a 2:1 classification.  With the experience of live client briefs and pitching to companies throughout her degree, Charlotte’s interest and enthusiasm for PR is infectious.

Charlotte has a great passion for writing which began at a young age and went from writing poetry through to her essays at A-Level English to reports and case studies at University, many of which Charlotte gained a first within.

Charlotte has worked in the retail sector for five years.  She has great confidence and enjoys meeting meet new people.  These skills were shown when holding two successful and profitable events for Cancer Research UK during Charlotte’s time at University.

At Jargon PR, Charlotte will use her ability to provide compelling new ideas for clients in order to drive forwards client programs within the media.

Naailah Tourabaly - Junior Account Executive

Naailah Tourabaly joined Jargon PR in June 2010 as a placement student.  She is an undergraduate at the University of Hertfordshire studying Tourism Management.  Her course involves studying advanced marketing communications and is where her interest in PR began.

Naailah enjoys new challenges and in 2009 she studied for and successfully passed her Legal Secretary Diploma.  This has helped her excel when studying the international law and Tourism at University.

From 2007 - 2009 Naailah volunteered at a local hospital where she cared for sick children.  Naailah enjoys working as part of a team and brings a huge amount of enthusiasm and energy.
